Getting To Know Cathal Sheridan

Sligo native Cathal Sheridan made his Munster debut as a replacement in the RaboDirect PRO12 game against Edinburgh at the start of February and has featured weekly since then.

With Conor Murray on International duty and Sheridan impressing at B&I Cup level, the UL Boh's club man was afforded the opportunity to show what he was capable of at senior level. His progression to date includes four RaboDirect PRO12 appearances including his first start for Munster at the weekend against Ospreys in Thomond Park.

In the British and Irish Cup Sheridan has been instrumental in Munster's progression to the knock-out stages playing in each of Munster's pool games this season. A product of the Munster Rugby Academy Cathal has represented Connacht U19s and has also represented the Ireland Club XV side.
