Match Day Info – Munster v Racing Metro

This is the biggest game of the season, Munster v Racing Metro 92 in the Heineken Cup in Thomond Park on Sunday at 12:45pm.

We know the Munster Supporters will be out in force this Sunday wearing the red of Munster and making a whole lot of noise! Look out for the free Munster flags and tattoos and as you get behind the team.

Gates will open at 10:45am.

Tickets

Remaining North and South terrace tickets (€;30) are available to buy online here, from the Munster Rugby ticket offices in Musgrave Park and Thomond Park, or by calling 061-421103. Tickets also available from the Munster Rugby Stores in Maylor St. (Cork) and O'Connell St. (Limerick).

The Mobile Ticket unit will be open over the weekend selling remaining tickets subject to availability.

• Saturday 9am – 6pm
• Sunday 9am – half time

On match day, ticket collections are from the Ticketmaster van on the East Stand side of Thomond Park from 9.30am.

The West Stand ticket booth will be open for sales (subject to availability), collections and enquiries on match day from 10:45am.

Travel

Please try to arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
• Kilmurry Lodge Hotel starting from 10:30am
• Radisson Hotel, Ennis Road starting from 11am
• South Court Hotel Raheen starting from 10:30am
• Woodlands Hotel Adare starting at 10:45am

There is a public bus service operating directly from Limerick City centre to Thomond Park Stadium starting from 10:45am, picking up outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry Street, with a return service following the game.

Supporters can pre-book their parking online for the Q-Park at Harvey’s Quay online at www.q-park.ie

There is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park Stadium.

Pre-Match

Match programmes will be on sale inside and outside the stadium for €;5.

On the pitch entertainment will start from 45 mins before the game, and features Jean Wallace, The Buachaills and the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir.

There are numerous bar and catering facilities within Thomond Park, all open at 10:45am. The Dugout Bar located at the front of the East Stand, will have Heineken Cup rugby on tv and a carvery menu.

On Level B West Stand, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir will be performing before the game, and there will be an artisan BBQ on Level C.

The Museum is open on match day from 10am -12:15pm.

The Munster Rugby Store in the East Stand will be open from 10am and the mobile shop outside the West Stand will open from 10:45am.

Half-Time

The half time mini rugby display will feature Ballina/Killaloe RFC v Killorglin RFC, and The Buachaills will be back for another performance. Keep an eye out for the Munster Rugby Face in the Crowd and see if your face appears on the big screen to win Munster Rugby tickets!

Stadium Information

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations found here.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
