Munster Arrive In Toulouse

The Munster squad and large group of supporters flew into a sunny Toulouse Airport this afternoon ahead of the round 2 clash with Castres Olympique at the Stade Ernest-Wallon tomorrow (4.40pm French time).

And as they converged in the baggage collection hall the mobile phones were pinging their messages, among them the Castres selection for the game tomorrow.

The one real surprise perhaps is the absence of a recognised kicker with Romain Teulet named on the bench despite the absence through injury of South African Rory Kockott.

Hoewever what Munster can expect is that the French will play their running game with Marc Andreu – a try scorer in Llanelli last week – and Max Evans selected on either wing.

And the presence up front of Anton Peikrishvili,  Scott Murray, Iosefa Tekori and skipper Chris Masoe means that Paul O'Connell and Co are in for another bruising 80 minutes of Cup football.

Castres Olympique: Florian Denos; Max Evans, Paul Bonnefond, Pierre Garcia, Marc Andreu; Pierre Bernard, Thierry Lacrampe; Anton Peikrishvili, Brice Mach, Karena Wihongi, Scott Murray, Iosefa Tekori, Jannie Bornman, Yannick Caballero, Chris Masoe [capt]
Replacements: Mathieu Bonello, Michael Coetzee, Luc Ducalcon, Matthias Rolland, Rodrigo Capo Ortega, Romain Teulet, Remi Tales, Pierre Lakafia
