In a province renowned for its sporting heritage, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir is delighted to present an event which celebrates the fusion of two great cultures – sport and music. From the power and passion of the heroic rugby anthems and the energy and exuberance of popular and modern hits to the drama and intensity of much-loved operatic favourites, this concert is guaranteed to entertain and rouse the spirit.

The MRSC Choir was formed in April 2008 and has more than forty members who travel from all over Munster to rehearse each week. Their first performance was at the official opening of Thomond Park before Munster's match against the All Blacks.

Since then the Choir has sung before most matches at Thomond Park and Musgrave Park and has become an important part of the pre-match entertainment, along with artists such as Cara O'Sullivan, The Celtic Tenors and Derek Moloney.

The Choir has also proven to be popular with a wider audience, including performances on the 'Late Late Show' and the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM, as well as Ireland Soccer Internationals and the opening ceremony of The Special Olympics National Games.
