Munster are set for a trip to Brive for the quarter final of the Amlin Challenge Cup in early April.
And if they were to be overcome the home side at the 16,000 capacity Stade Municipal they would then have a home semi final against either Harlequins or London Wasps.
Brive, who won the Heineken Cup in 1997 and were beaten finalists the following year, emerged unbeaten from an Amlin Challenge Cup Pool that featured Sale Sharks, Petrarca and Spanish club El Salvadore
