Match Day Information – B&I Cup and Heineken Cup

Please find match day information here. Kick off your weekend rugby action tonight in Garryowen FC, supporting Munster against Esher in the B&I Cup, ko 7.30pm

British and Irish Cup – Munster Rugby v Esher RFC
Friday 21st January, Garryowen FC, ko 7.30pm with gates opening at 6pm.

Tickets available at the gate with prices as follows:
Adult €;10; Junior €;3; Family Pack €;20 (2 Adults & 2 Children)

Heineken Cup – Munster Rugby v London Irish
Saturday 22nd January, Thomond Park, ko 3.30pm with gates opening at 1.30pm.

Tickets – There are no tickets on sale for this game.

Please check your tickets for the details of the turnstiles (T1 – T12). Your ticket will only be accepted in the turnstiles identified on your ticket.

Travel

Please arrive early and allow sufficient time for your journey.

The Park and Ride facility will be in operation from the following locations:
Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, from 12pm
Radisson Hotel Ennis Rd, from 1pm
Raheen Ryan’s Centra, from 12.45pm
City East Plaza, from 2.30pm
Maldron Hotel, from 4.00pm
Punche's Hotel, from 2.30pm

There is a public bus service operating directly from Limerick city centre to Thomond Park Stadium from 1pm with a return service from 5.15pm. Pick up is from outside the Dunnes Stores on Henry St.

There is no parking in the vicinity of the Thomond Park Stadium. Parking is available at all city centre car parks.

Pre-Match

The Dug-Out bar in the East Stand is open from 1.30pm with live entertainment from “Mad For Road”, and competitions in place to win match tickets.

On the pitch entertainment starts one hour before kickoff featuring The Celtic Tenors, the Munster Rugby Supporters Club Choir and Arcana.

The Museum will be open on match day from 10am to 3pm, admission only €;3.

Match programmes will be on sale from booths inside and outside the stadium for €;5.

Stadium Information

There are numerous bars and catering facilities within Thomond Park – All open 2 hours before kick-off.

Customers are not permitted to exit and re-enter the stadium at any point.

No one will be able to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of ant soft drink containers on entering the stadium.

Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations.

There will be stewards and security on site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.
