Women’s Rugby At LIT

Limerick IT Women’s rugby team recently started their season with an impressive display at the Munster Colleges 7’s tournament.
This newly formed side reached the final of the women’s section and narrowly lost out to Tralee IT despite a late surge by the Limerick students.
Under the guidance of Irish and Munster player Joy Neville and Limerick IT Rugby Officer Brian Farrell the team train on Tuesday at 2pm and on Thursday at 4pm. All new players are welcome and no previous rugby experience is necessary.
