Hayes Named in Ireland U20s Starting XV

Munster’s Brian Hayes joins his academy colleague Dave O’Callaghan in forming the second row partnership for Ireland’s U20s clash against England in the Junior World Cup today.

Hayes came on as a 75th minute replacement in Ireland's 25-22 defeat to France on Saturday and is now promotod to the starting XV in place of Ben Marshall.

Munster players Simon Zebo and Paddy Butler also start as Bryan Cagney and Brian O'Hara are named in the replacements.

England currently top pool B with five points after defeating Argentina 48-22, France are second on four points and Ireland are third courtesy of the losing bonus point they secured against the French.

Ireland U20 coach Allen Clarke has made two other changes to the side that suffered defeat to France in their opening game last Saturday.

Noel Reid, who sparked the attack which led to Ireland's only try against the French, comes in at full-back as an indirect replacement for Darren Hudson, with Andrew Conway moving to the right wing and Brendan Macken has been preferred to Eoin Griffin at outside centre.

Ireland U20s face England U20s at 2.10pm today in Argentina (6.10pm Irish time) and the game will be televised live on Setanta Sports and Sky Sports, and also online here
