Foley Goes Back to his Roots

Munster A take on Leinster A in Clonmel RFC at 7pm this evening and local man Dave Foley, a product of Clonmel RFC, is paired with fellow Tipperary man Donnacha Ryan in the second row.

From the age of eight Foley developed his game with his local club and came through the youth’s system, going on to play for Munster and Ireland youths, and then joining the Munster Academy.

Currently in his second year of the Academy, Foley plays his club rugby with UL Bohemians and has featured for Munster A already this season scoring a try against Ulster A in Shaws Bridge.

The young lock will be hoping for the same again tonight as he hopes to impress in front of one or two familiar faces, and no doubt the local support are looking forward to welcoming him home!

Munster Rugby would like to take this opportunity to thank Clonmel man JJ Killian and his committee for all their hard work in organizing tonight’s fixture.
