Cronin and O’Sullivan Added To Munster HC Squad

Back-row John O’Sullivan and hooker Sean Cronin have been added to Munster’s Heineken Cup squad for the knock-out stages of the competition.

O’Sullivan has recovered from a knee injury sustained in the very first game of the season against the US Eagles in Chicago, back in August while Cronin recently announced that he will take up a full professional contract with Connacht at the end of this season.

O’Sullivan is included in the Munster squad for the Magners League game on Saturday and is delighted to have made it back into the squad. “Initially the prognosis was not good but  I set myself a target of being back in time for the knock-outs and so its a real boost to be added to that squad.”

On the injury front David Wallace did some jogging at training today in Garryowen, accompanied by Tom Comyns in his laps of the back pitch at Dooradoyle.

Denis Leamy is expected to have further examination of his shoulder tomorrow while Barry Murphy and Keith Earls both continue to make steady progress in their recovery from hamstring injuries.
