Munster completed their preparations behind closed doors at Thomond Park yesterday ahead of Saturday s Heineken Cup final clash with Biarritz Olympique. The match day squad went through an hour long session at a wet and windy Thomond where Paul O Connell, Marcus Horan and John Kelly all took a full part with coach Declan Kidney afterwards declaring himself satisfied with their well being.
Everyone did what was asked of them he said, including Paul, Marcus and John and now it is a question of seeing how they react to that run before deciding on the side.
Ronan O Gara who missed the session on Tuesday in Musgrave with a stomach bug was also involved and was last leave, staying behind to do his kicking practice long after the rest of the squad had retired to their hotel.
The squad departs from Shannon Airport this morning at 10.30 and the starting 22 will be announced from the Millennium Stadium at 2.15pm.
A decision on whether or not the roof of the stadium will be open may not be taken until the morning of the game.
