Ruddock Steps Down

Mike Ruddock who guided Wales to their first Grand Slam in 27 years is to announce that he is stepping down from his position as Welsh national coach.

Mike Ruddock who guided Wales to their first Grand Slam in 27 years is to announce that he is stepping down from his position as Welsh national coach.

It is not yet entirely clear whether his resignation will take with immediate effect but it would seem likely that it will given the timing of the announcement.

Ruddock was awarded an OBE in the New Year honours list for his services to Welsh rugby.
