Munster teams dominate AIL, as Youghal lose unbeaten record in Junior League.

Shannon have moved a point ahead of Garryowen and Cork Constitution in the AIL, after the holders defeated UL Bohes comprehensively in the Limerick derby.

In Division Two Young Munster continued their challenge with 38-22 win over DLSP, while Dolphin and UCC kept their promotion hopes alive with victories.

Clonakilty have opened up a three point lead in the Third Division after both Bruff and Nenagh Ormond lost for the first time this season.

In the Heineken Munster Junior League Youghal were surprisingly beaten by Clonmel 19-14 and Clanwilliam snatched a late dramatic win over Crosshaven to keep their unbeaten record. Tralee are the new leaders in Section C, after the top game between Cobh and Thurles was postponed.

Ballincollig won the top of the table clash in Division Three with a 16-13 win away over Newcastle West and Mallow are the new leaders as they collected maximum points from their trip to Dungarvan.
