Trevor Hogan In Tour Squad To Japan

Munster lock Trevor Hogan has been included in the 26 strong Ireland tour party to Japan but there is no place in the squad for either Alan Quinlan or Anthony Foley.

Munster lock Trevor Hogan has been included in the 26 strong Ireland tour party to Japan but there is no place in the squad for either Alan Quinlan or Anthony Foley.

In total there are seven Munster players involved, two backs, Peter Stringer and Anthony Horgan and five forwards, Hogan joined on the plane to the Far East by Frank Sheahan, Marcus Horan, Denis Leamy and David Wallace.

The Ireland squad will depart on June 4th from their camp in Limerick and will play the first of their two tests in the 55,000 capacity Nagai Stadium, Osaka on Sunday, June 12th (Kick off 2pm local time).

The second test will take place in Tokyo the following Sunday, June 19th (kick off 2pm local time) in the 28,000 capacity Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground.
