Munster Women’s side travel to Rennes to play a Brittany Region selection on Saturday at 3pm. It s a special day for two members of the management team, Mark Andrews and Rohan West, who are retiring from the Munster women s set up, having brought the team to four successive Interprovincial titles. This game will be their last involvement with the team.

Munster expect a tough game, having made the same trip two years ago and losing out on a narrow margin. However, they travel with a strong team, and captain Wendy Keenan, from Ballincollig RFC, is looking forward to the challenge to finish off a successful season. They are a strong, physical side, but our team are match fit and ready to go. We have a good mixture of experience and up and coming talented players, who will really get a chance to shine on Saturday.

Team: Wendy Keenan (Captain) (Ballincollig), Marie Barrett (Highfield), Helen Brosnan (Highfield), Denise Cremin (Highfield), Helen Cremins (Clanwilliam) , Alison Donnelly (Highfield RFC), Noreen Fitzgerald (Highfield), Amanda Greensmith (Vice-Captain) (Shannon), Laura Guest (Shannon), Deirdre O Brien (UL Bohs), Tracie O Dwyer (Clanwilliam), Frances O Keeffe (Clonakilty), Natasha O Keeffe (Clanwilliam), Regina O Reilly (Shannon), Laura O Shea (Shannon), Aine Savage (Shannon), Roisin Sheahan (Shannon), Denise Tracey (Shannon), Sandra Williams (Nenagh Ormond), Katie Wurst (Shannon)
