Spirits High In Ospreys Camp

Ospreys head Coach Lyn Jones will be looking to his ‘exciting backline’ to help gain the upper hand against Munster in Musgrave Park tomorrow night.

Ospreys head Coach Lyn Jones will be looking to his ‘exciting backline’ to help gain the upper hand against Munster in Musgrave Park tomorrow night. And following on from their impressive win over Harlequins at The Stoop confidence is high in the Ospreys camp.

Speaking on the oficial Ospreys site, Jones said, ” Spirits are high in the camp after a great victory against Harlequins last weekend. Most noticeable was the magnificent support of the Ospreys fans who travelled up to The Stoop. The players were taken aback by the thousands of Ospreys jerseys in the crowd and long may it continue. The vocal support was evident from start to finish and helped to keep the boys going right up to the final whistle.

“In respect of the fixture tomorrow night, we are looking forward to a match where both teams know each other very well. It was a titanic struggle in the Heineken Cup game at The Gnoll and it will be interesting to see how much we have learned from that encounter. It was a match of great intensity from two teams on top of their game. The form of the sides is reflected by the fact that we will witness a first against second placed fixture. Munster had a magnificent win against Castres last weekend, with another huge effort from their forwards securing the result.

“We will have to work hard up front to gain parity in order to allow our exciting backs to play”
