Holders Shannon and Garryowen will be favourites to qualify for this season’s Munster Club League Final. Both have home advantage, with Garryowen playing Midleton at Dooradoyle on Saturday and Shannon face Thomond at Coonagh on Sunday.

The Third round of the Heineken Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup dominated the weekend’s Junior program. Charleville will be hoping to repeat their Mansergh Cup victory over Kilfeacle, while the game of the round should be the meeting of holders Cobh Pirates and the current Junior League leaders Nenagh Ormond.
