Fiona Steed will lead out the Munster Womens team in her home town of Nenagh when they seek to defend the Interprovincial title against perennial rivals Ulster this Saturday at 2.30pm.

Injuries and unavailablities have seen a marked change to the makeup of the team with Internationals SaraJane Belton, Jean Lonergan, Edel Coen, Maeve Quirke and regulars Eimear O’Sullivan Denise Tracy, Grace Sheehy and Noddy Duggan either injured or overseas.

Despite these losses coaches Mark Andrews and Rohan West have been able to put together a very experienced side including 9 Internationals with the only player in the starting 15 making her Munster debut being Vivian Boland, a former New Zealand Black Fern.
