AIB LEAGUE 2002/03

AIB League Champions Shannon begin the defence of their title, with an away trip to St. Mary s College at Templeville Road on Saturday 25th October.

AIB League Champions Shannon begin the defence of their title, with an away trip to St. Mary s College at Templeville Road on Saturday 25th of October. Runners up Cork Constitution also start their League campaign with an away game against Galwegians. U.L. Bohemian play their first game in the top flight, at home to last season s Division Two Champions Belfast Harlequins. While Garryowen also have a home tie against Buccaneers. Young Munster begin their Second Division campaign with a visit from Kildare side Barnhall. Old Crescent face Dublin University at Rosbrien and Thomond make the long journey to Ballynahinch. Both Dolphin and Midleton start their league campaigns with home ties, the Musgrave Park side face D.L.S.P. and Midleton are at home to last season s Third Division winners Greystones. U.C.C. travel north to play Malone and Sunday s Well face a difficult opening away to Old Belvedere. Highfield back in the AIB League after a season in Junior rugby face Queens University at Woodleigh Park. Clonakilty after two visits to Clifden in the last two season s, begin their campaign with a home tie against last season s Third Division Champions Connemara and Waterpark start their campaign with a trip to Banbridge.
