Sunday's Well Coaches Upskill

Munster Rugby coaching staff recently presented a technical workshop to Sunday's Well underage coaches at Sunday's Well RFC.

Coaches actively coaching at stages 2 and 3 of the IRFU’s Long Term Player Development Pathway (LTPD), took part in the workshop covering the areas of passing, receiving and tackle techniques with key factor analysis being the main focus.

A presentation was made on the IRFU Technical Model incorporating how to develop the cognitive and player understanding as well as the benefits of the game sense approach to rugby.

As part of Munster Rugby’s ongoing Coach Development Programme an upcoming scrum workshop will be hosted by Paul McCarthy, Munster Scrum Coach, on Monday 21st November in Shannon RFC, Coonagh, Co. Limerick and the following Monday 28th November in Cork Constitution F.C., Temple Hill, Cork.
