A selection of players from the Daughters of Charity in Munster recently took part in a challenge match at Garryowen Rugby Club.
Waterpark retained their Avonmore Milk Munster Under 19 League title with a dramatic win over a gallant Crosshaven side at Thomond Park.
Waterpark were in total control in the opening half and were 15-0 ahead at half time. Winger David Fitzgerald opened the scoring with a try which Tom Kiersey converted. The Waterpark out half extended their advantage with a penalty and a try by Ian Kenny made it 15-0 at the break.
Crosshaven hit back after the break and two tries by Darren O’Keeffe and a conversion and penalty by Conor Lyden tied up the scores.
Waterpark’s Tom Kiersey who was named man of the match made sure of victory with a penalty five minutes from time.

Having shared the trophy with Garryowen last season, Waterpark made no mistake this time with an impressive win over Shannon at Thomond Park.
Shannon made the better start and raced into a 9-0 lead with two penalties and a drop goal from out half Ronan McKenna.
Waterpark gradually got back into the contest and a try by prop Adam West left it 9-5 in favour of Shannon at half time.
The favourites continued to dominate and a try by out half Tom O’Hare put Waterpark ahead by a point. Skipper Jack O’Donoghue sealed victory for Waterpark with the third try of the game.
