The Charity Cup Final between Cashel RFC and Cork Constitution FC will take place on Saturday, 14th December at Musgrave Park (kick-off 2pm).
Crescent College Comprehensive won their fifth Avonmore Milk Munster Schools Junior Cup title with an exciting second half performance to overcome the challenge of a gallant Ard Scoil Ris side at Clifford Park.
In an evenly contested opening half Ard Scoil Ris dominated the early exchanges territorially but could not find a gap in the Crescent defence.
Crescent came more into the game and their skipper Gearoid Lyons was off target with two long range penalty efforts to leave the sides scoreless at half time.
Ard Scoil Ris out half Stephen Fitzgerald opened the scoring with a penalty minutes into the second half to leave it 3-0.
The holders hit back and went in front with a try from winger Alan Crean mid way through the half and Gearoid Lyons converted for a 7-3 lead.
Crescent continued to dominate and increased their lead with a try from Jack Hogan which Lyons converted.
Man of the match Gearoid Lyons extended his side’s advantage with a drop goal to leave it 17-7.
Number 8 Cormac Blake put the game beyond the reach of Ard Scoil Ris with his side’s third try which Lyons failed to convert.
