Old Crescent RFC have moved quickly to put the disappointment of relegation to AIL Division 2B behind them by appointing a new senior rugby management team for next season.

CastletroyCollege defeated C.B.C. in the final of the McCarthy Cup (Under 15) 21-10 at MusgravePark.
This was a gritty performance by the Limerick side but they had to endure some anxious moments before clinching victory with an intercept try six minutes into injury time.
Castletroy's out half Conor Linehan opened the scoring with a penalty after seventeen minutes but Christians were level minutes later when Michael O'Halloran kicked a penalty.
Castletroy pressure was rewarded with a try by Linehan and his second penalty left it 11-3 in favour of the Limerick Collegeat half time.
Christians laid siege to the Castletroy line at the start of the second half and their pressure was eventually rewarded with a try by Killian Doyle in the corner which O'Halloran converted from the side line to leave a point between the sides.
Linehan extended Castletroy College's lead with his third penalty.
Christians went on an all out attack in the final minutes in search of a try and after working the ball into the Castletroy twenty two all their work was undone when Castletroy's full back Brian Donovan intercepted a pass and raced the length of the field to touch down and Linehan's conversion started great scenes of celebration amongst the Limerick side's supporters.
