Due to an unprecedented demand, the Munster Rugby Coaching & Development Department ran a Level 1 coaching course in Mallow GAA on the 5th-7th September for the first time.
Because of the demand for places at the course run at Colaiste Stiofan Naofa on 23-25th August it was deemed necessary to run an extra Level 1 course to cater for the demand. The facilities that were on offer at the venue where of a superb standard and the Mallow GAA facility will certainly be looked at as an ongoing venue for courses in the future. The course was attended by 32 coaches from various clubs throughout the province who worked very hard over the weekend to make it an enjoyable event for both the tutors and coaches alike.
