A Munster Under 17 combined selection of players from the Regional Development Squad and Munster 'B' Schools recently attended a 11 a-side blitz at Cork Institute of Technology grounds.

The other semi-final sees Highfield at home to Clonmel. Highfield will start as favourites after their 33-7 home win last Saturday against Garryowen where Mark Dorgan Cian Tuohy, Colin Lougheed, Eoghan Greene and Conor Philpott scored tries
Clonmel booked their place in the last four with a 16-11 away win over a fancied Abbeyfeale side.
The Under 17 knock out phase has fallen behind because of play offs to decide the qualifiers from Section A. last night Highfield defeated Galbally away 24-18 to book the final quarter final spot.
The two remaining quarter finals are scheduled for next Sunday with a 1.00 kick off Bruff will entertain Midleton and Old Crescent will play Highfield at Rosbrien.
The Under 17 semi-finals are scheduled for the following weekend 9th/10th March. The winners of the Bruff Midleton game will be at home to Clonakilty and Waterpark will travel to the winners of the Old Crescent Highfield tie.
Both finals are scheduled for the Patrick’s weekend with dates, times and venues yet to be confirmed.
