This week's Club Notes come from Carrick-on-Suir RFC.
The Editor

Like last year, this initiative provided youths between the ages of 9-15, from a wide range of abilities and backgrounds with a fun and positive experience as well as enabling them to mix and build positive relationships with one another.
The main focus was to bring clubs and communities together; city wide, through positive opportunities such as this programme and it was clear from the day that this was a big step in the right direction.
Special thanks have to go to Presentation RFC for the use of their excellent facilities on the day. Also Munster Rugby would like to thank the students of the Southside Community Leadership Arts and Sports Programme. The students who have spent the last six months developing their knowledge of the game helped out on the day by supporting the referees to score each game.
Whilst the emphasis of the competition was on Fair play; not the winning, each team were scored on Conduct, Teamwork and Sportsmanship. Thanks must also go to all coaches, teachers and supervisors of their teams ensuring the day’s success.
Kieran Ryan and Elaine O’Connor of the Limerick Regeneration Agency supported this programme. They were on hand to give out prizes, which included Munster Rabo Direct Pro12 tickets v Ulster, Special Tour Visit to Thomond Park and 15 winning Summer Camp places for the best behaved/dedicated players. Congratulations must go to the winning team Southside Garda project and runners up; Presentation RFC.
Should you wish to book a summer camp place do not hesitate to contact Munster Rugby by telephone on 021-4323563 or email info@munsterrugby.ie
