Weekend Fixtures

A full program of Ulster Bank League fixtures dominates the weekend as well as the opening round of the All Ireland Junior Cup.

The big game in the Ulster Bank All Ireland League will be the Division 1A clash of Cork Constitution and Young Munster. The Limerick side are joint top with two wins from two and after last week’s defeat in the ODM Cup semi-final will be anxious to get back to winning ways.

Garryowen will hope to continue their good run with a home win over Old Belvedere and U.L. Bohemian face a difficult task away to Clontarf still seeking their first win.

Bottom side Shannon will hope to end their poor start to the season with a home win over Dolphin.

In Division 2A Corinthians and Cashel meet as both put their unbeaten records to the test. Highfield will have it all to do away to leaders Banbridge.

Three of the four Munster sides in the All Ireland Junior Cup have been handed home draws with Richmond the unlucky side. The Limerick side are away to Newbridge and this will be a big test for the Munster league champions.

Crosshaven who won the Cup in 2011are at home to Monivea the side they beat in that final but Crosshaven still looking for their first victory of the season will have it all to do if they are to break their duck.

Kanturk will be strongly fancied to beat Westport and Skibbereen playing in the competition for the first time entertain Enniscorthy.
