Weekend Club Preview And Fixtures

Another busy weekend of League action this weekend with a full programme of games in the Ulster Bank League and Munster Junior League.

Dolphin, who are propping up the table in Division 1A of the Ulster Bank League, will have their work cut out as they welcome leaders Terenure College to Musgrave Park.

Fellow strugglers Young Munster are at home to Old Belvedere.

Cork Constitution will be looking to build on last weekend’s first win of the campaign as they travel to the Capital to take on St Mary’s College in a mid-table clash at Templeville Road.

In Division 1B, third-placed Garryowen will be aiming to continue their bid for a quick return to the top flight as they make the long trip north to take on Belfast Harlequins at Deramore Park.

Fourth-placed UL Bohemian face a tricky task as they entertain second-placed Ballymena at Thomond Park.

Limerick neighbours Shannon, who are still without a win are away to Corinthians.

Nenagh Ormond will be looking to continue their bid for a second successive promotion as they take on Bective Rangers at Donnybrook in Division 2A.

Premier County neighbours Cashel, who recorded a valuable home win over Naas last weekend, face a tough assignment as they travel to Parsonstown to lock horns with second-placed NUIM Barnhall.

Thomond make the long trip to County Down to take on Banbridge and UCC are away to Skerries.

In Division 2B, promotion chasing Midleton travel to Navan and Kanturk will be aiming to build on last weekend’s historic victory over Boyne as they aim to make life difficult for fourth-placed City of Armagh at Knocknaconlon.

Fifth-placed Highfield, who are seeking a quick return to Division 2A take on second-placed Greystones at Dr Hickey Park.

Two Limerick sides who are still without a win will be looking to make the most of home advantage count as Richmond entertain Wanderers and Old Crescent are at home to DLSP.

Bruff and Sunday’s Well go head to head in a mid-table clash at Kilballyowen Park.

Clonmel, who finished last season’s campaign in second place behind Kanturk in Division 1 of the Munster Junior League and also won the Junior Cup are at home to Premier County neighbours Kilfeacle and both who won their opening games last weekend will be anxious for back to back victories.

There are two Cork derbies down for decision as Cobh Pirates are at home to Clonakilty and Old Christians take on Kinsale at Rathcooney.

St Mary’s who have lost several players to Senior Clubs after a successful season which yielded the Junior Plate and Junior Clubs’ Challenge Cup last season, will be looking to make the most of home advantage count as they take on Galbally at Grove Island.

Waterpark, who narrowly avoided the drop last season face a tricky task as they travel to West Limerick take on Newcastle West and Tralee are at home to Muskerry.

Two sides who lost last weekend meet when Skibbereen make the long trip to the Banner County to play St Senan’s.

In Division 2, leaders Bandon who narrowly missed out of promotion last season will be aiming to make it two wins from two as they take on last season’s Division 3 champions Ballincollig at Tanner Park.

Abbeyfeale face a tricky task as they entertain Presentation at the West Limerick venue and third-placed Castleisland will be looking to make the most of home advantage as they welcome Waterford City to the Kingdom.

Two Cork sides face tough away assignments as Mallow travel to Kerry to take on Killarney and Youghal are away to Clanwilliam.

Crosshaven are away to Newport and Thurles and Ennis lock horns in a mid-table clash at the Tipperary venue.

Fethard mark their debut in Division 3 with a home tie against Bantry Bay.

Dungarvan, who narrowly missed out on promotion make the long trip to the Kingdom to take on Killorglin, who were relegated last season.

Carrigaline are at home to near neighbours Douglas in the South Cork derby and Fermoy welcome Scariff to the Showgrounds.
