Victory for Munster Women As U19 Draw

Munster Women’s side remain on target to win their sixth successive Inter Provincial title after a hard earned victory over Ulster at Dooradoyle, while the Munster Under 19’s were held by Connacht at Thomond Park.

Ulster pushed Munster all the way in this Inter Provincial tie at Dooradoyle. The home side will be disappointed not to have secured a bonus point for the second week running and now their focus will be on the deciding game at Woodleigh Park next Saturday against Leinster.

Niamh Kavanagh, Claire Keohane and Joy Neville scored tries for Munster and Niamh Briggs kicked a penalty.

Munster began their Group A Inter Provincial championship with a share of the spoils at Thomond Park.
Playing against the wind in the opening half Munster trailed 3-0 at the interval, but a try from Aaron Daly and a conversion and two penalties from Tom Kiersey earned Munster a share of the spoils.
