U20s Interprovincial Campaign

The Munster U20s secured a 17-12 victory over UCC last Friday night in CIT in their final challenge game before next Friday’s Interprovincial clash in the Mardyke, ko 7pm.

The Munster U20s have had a change in management this season with Conor Twomey at the helm, and the UCC coach will be on familiar ground this Friday evening when his Munster young guns line out in the Mardyke in Cork for their opening interprovincial game against Ulster.

After finishing all level against Connacht and suffering defeat at the hands of the Academy, Munster recorded a win in their final challenge game against UCC last week.

UCC started the brightest scoring tries on the 10th and 15th minutes leaving the score at 12 nil at half time.

Munster responded well and 4 minutes into they second half academy player Corey Hircock got the first of his two tries with the second coming on the 54th minute.

Munster's third try came on the 69th minute which was converted leaving the final score at 17 to 12 in favour of Munster.
