U20 Side Named For Connacht Interpro

Munster U20 Head Coach Peter Malone has named his side to face Conncaht at the Sportsground tomorrow evening at 5pm. Just one personnel change is made to the starting XV that defeated Leinster in the Mardyke last weekend.

The injury enforced change sees Young Munster’s David O’Mahony switch to out-half for the injured Bill Johnston.

O’Mahony’s move to the half backs means Tom McHale is promoted to the starting XV at fullback with Josh Daly coming onto the bench.

Malone’s charges travel to Connacht knowing a win will secure Munster’s first Interprovincial Championship at this level since it changed from an U21 to an U20 competition.

Munster XV: Tom McHale (Rockwell College); Colm Hogan (Glenstal Abbey School), Shane Daly (Presentation Brothers College), Paul Kiernan (Captain) (UCC); Lee Molloy (Rockwell College); David O'Mahony (Young Munster), John Poland (Presentation Brothers College); Peter Meyer (Young Munster), Vincent O'Brien (Cork Constitution), Ben Betts (Young Munster); Sean O'Leary (Cork Constitution), Barra O'Byrne (Garryowen); Kelvin Browne (Shannon), Dan Walsh (Vice-Captain) (Cork Constitution), John Foley (Shannon)

Replacements: Shane Fenton (Young Munster), Shane O'Hanlon (Christian Brothers College), Rob O'Donovan (Cork Constitution), Pat Staff (Young Munster), Evan Mintern (Cork Constitution), Jamie McAleese (Glenstal Abbey School), Josh Daly (UCC), James O'Connor (Young Munster)
