Next Week’s Fixtures week ending 26th Nov

After a two week break in the Ulster Bank League, there is a full series of games this weekend.

Division 1Aleaders Young Munster are at home to Lansdowne and after a few impressive results; the Limerick side will be hoping to continue their good rune with another victory.

The top game of the day should be the meeting of Clontarf and Shannon at Castle Avenue. Shannon have failed to win their last two games, while Clontarf’s unbeaten run ended at Temple Hill last time out. This is a game neither side can afford to lose and it should go down to the wire with little expected to be between the sides at the finish.

Cork Constitutionboosted by that win over Clonmel are also in the capital as they face Blackrock College and despite the Dublin side being anchored at the foot of the table they will make things difficult for Constitution.

Dolphinare at home to Garryowen and both sides need a victory to move away from the danger zone. Garryowen have put together a few good result but lack consistency and this is a game both sides see as a must win game.

In Division 1B U.L. Bohemian still on the fringes of the promotion race must collect a win at home to Ballymena at Annacotty.

Bruff who have slipped down the table alarmingly in recent weeks face a difficult task away to promotion chasing Ballynahinch.

U.C.C.bottom of the table and without a victory face a difficult trip away to Dungannon and will do well to pick up at least a losing bonus point.

Old Crescentand Thomond are just below the half way mark in Division 2A and both will need to put a few wins together to get back in the promotion race. Old Crescent are at home to Malone a side four points ahead of them in the table. The Ulster side are not the best of travellers and the Rosbrien side should pick up the points.

Thomond do not play until Sunday when they travel to Dublin to face Bective Rangers a side two places below them in the table. It will take a big effort by the Limerick side to get a win.

The other two Munster sides in this Division occupy the last two places. Midleton are at home to Trinity a side in third place just two points behind the leaders. Midleton will go into this tie as underdogs and could cause a shock with their second win of the campaign.

Clonakiltyare propping up the table and are still searching for their first win. They visit Donnybrook to face Old Wesley and the odds must be on a victory for the home side.

Cashel who lead Division 2B on points difference from Rainey Old Boys travel to Navan and on current form the visitors should collect the spoils.

Nenagh Ormondin fourth place have a home tie against Sunday’s Well and while they can expect a tough contest the Tipperary side will be expected to come out on top.

Highfieldwill hope that their injury worries will have cleared up ahead of their home encounter with Connemara. The Galway side made a great start but have lost their way in recent weeks and if Highfield can reproduce the form they showed last time out against Highfield they could record their fourth victory.

On the Junior scene Richmond and Kilfeacle meet in the final of the Junior Clubs Challenge Clubs Cup Final at Charleville and the Current Junior League leaders Richmond will be hot favourites to lift the trophy for the first time.

There is one game in Division One of the Munster Junior League when Crosshaven host Galbally and the visitors with two games in hand to the leaders will be anxious for a win to close the gap on the leaders.

There is a full series of games in both Division 2 and 3.
