Munster U19’s Win In Cardiff

The Munster U19’s, sponsored by Star Elm Frames, claimed a 24-20 win over Cardiff today at the Arms Park.

Going in 10-5 ahead at the break, the Munster side maintained their lead until the final whistle in what was an excellent preparation game for the upcoming interprovincial fixtures.

The Munster squad return to Ireland this Sunday morning and finish their warm up games on Friday, 29th August against Cork Constitution U20’s at Temple Hill (kick-off 7pm).

Leinster will host the side in their first interprovincial game on Saturday, 6th September followed by two home games against Connacht and Ulster.

Munster U19 v Cardiff: James O’Connor; Shane Daly, Tim Cronin, Rory Horgan (Capt.), Joe White; Paul Downes, Rory Cunningham; Peter Meyer, Vincent O’Brien, Ben Betts; Josh Barnes, Seán O’Connor; Tommy Anglim, Daniel Walsh, Ronan Murphy. Replacements: Shane Fenton, Philip Poillet, David Jennings; Seán O’Leary, Seán Fitzgerald, John Poland, Paul O’Keeffe, Dave O’Mahony, Stephen Hickey, Liam Treacy, Gary O’Sullivan.

Sat. 13th Sept., Munster v Connacht Tom Clifford Park, Greenfields, kick-off 2:30pm
