Munster U18 Schools Set To Retain Interpro Title

Munster U18 Schools Head Coach Keith Murphy has named his squad to face Leinster tomorrow, 5th September at Donnybrook (kick-off 3pm) as they bid to defend their Interprovincial title.

Ronan Coffey from Ardscoil Rís will captain the side from the second row joining Seán English from Castletroy College named at lock.

The back row comprises of flankers Charlie Carmody (St. Munchin’s College), Ian Brown (Ardscoil Rís) and No. 8 Fergus Hennessy (Christian Brothers College).

Diarmuid Barron from Rockwell College has been named at hooker partnered by props James French from Bandon Grammar and Christian Brothers College tighthead Ciaran McHugh.

St. Munchin’s College scrum half Aaron Rice has been named along with fellow half back Peter Sylvester from Presentation Brothers College.

The centre partnership include Pa Ryan (Ardscoil Rís) and Daniel Hurley (Crescent College Comprehensive) with Seán French (Presentation Brothers College) and Paul Buckley (Presentation Brothers College) named on the wing.

Marcus Browne from St. Munchin’s College has been named at fullback.

The Munster U18 Schools will host Ulster at Christian Brothers College, Cork on Saturday, 19^th September (kick-off 1pm) in their final fixture of the series.
