Munster U17 Develoment Squad Update

The Munster Clubs U17 Regional Development Squad took on Connacht Under 17’s yesterday at the University of Limerick 4G Pitches.

Over 45 players from both squads competed in this provincial friendly as part of their respective development programmes.

The match was a very physical encounter for both squads involved and provided a platform for the players to showcase their skills developed over the summer months.

Players from the Munster U17 Club Development squad will compete against each other in a ‘Select Training’ match on Thursday, 28th August in Clanwilliam FC.

This precedes a challenge match against the Munster U18 Clubs representative side on Wednesday, 3rd September in Cork which will complete their U17 programme.

This Squad will then continue to undergo its selection process for next season's Munster U18 Clubs, where they will meet in late October to play an Italian Development touring side.
