Munster Junior Clubs Cup draws

The draws for the various Munster Junior Clubs Cup competitions have been made.

All the Cup competitions will begin on the 12^th September.

Holders Kilfeacle will begin their defence of the Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup with a home tie against Ballincollig, while last year’s beaten finalists Clonmel received a bye into the quarter finals where they will face a home tie against Waterpark or Thurles.

The four semi finalists will qualify for the All Ireland Junior Cup which begins on the 30^th October.

The draw for the Munster Junior Clubs Challenge Cup is:-

First Round – Sunday 12th September:

A Cobh Pirates v St. Senan's

B Waterpark v Thurles

C Kilfeacle v Ballincollig

D Cashel v Clanwilliam

E Skibbereen v Crosshaven

F Tralee v Old Christians

Quarter Finals – Sunday 19th September:

The Munster Junior Clubs Shield which is for teams in the Second Division of the Munster Junior League sees holders Galbally at home to Kanturk which is a repeat of last season’s final which Galbally won.

The Martin O’Sullivan Cup which is for the sides in the Third Division of the Munster Junior League sees holders Carrick-on-Suir away to Waterford City.

Newcomers Bantry Bay have been drawn away to Corca Dhuibhne.
