Mini & Foundation Coaching Courses At UL

Munster Rugby ran Stage 1 (mini rugby) and Stage 2 (foundation level) Rugby Courses last week-end at the University of Limerick with over 70 coaches from clubs and schools in attendance.

The two courses saw the induction of the new refreshed IRFU course material and involved both indoor tutorials and outdoor practical sessions.

Areas covered included an introduction to the IRFU Long Term Player Development Plan and the Rugby Technical model. Modules also included the Role of the Coach, Teaching Rugby Skills, Planning and Organisation, Individual Skill Development and Key Factor Analysis.
