Mini Coaching Workshop In Listowel

Munster Rugby Community Officer Ray Gadsden ran a mini coaching workshop at Listowel RFC last Saturday.

The focus of the workshops was on upskilling the coaches and featured a wide range of sample fun games and skills related to the two General Movement Groups at Stage 1: 'Players on the Ball' and 'Players in Space'.

The mini coaches of Listowel RFC are dealing with upwards of 70-80 children every Saturday morning with new members joining all the time.

A huge part of their success is that the club are following the IRFU Long Term Player Development programme and are creating an atmosphere of fun and inclusion for all their young members.

Munster Rugby would like to thank Listowel RFC for facilitating the workshop and providing such a warm welcome.
