Lep Rugby Coaching Course At Cahersiveen

Munster Rugby Recently hosted a two day Leprechaun Rugby Coaching Course at Coláiste na Scelige, Cahersiveen, as part of the national Post Leaving Certificate programme.

The fourteen students worked indoors on modules including The Role Of The Coach, Organisation And Management Of A Session, Teaching Skills and Physical Literacy.

Pitch work also included Practical Tag and Leprechaun Rugby sessions focusing on Evasion, Catch/Pass and Physical Literacy.

On the second day the students planned their own coaching session for the 1st year Coláiste na Scelige pupils before competing in a rugby blitz competition.
