Girls Rugby Continues In Waterford

Waterford secondary schools Waterpark College and Ard Scoil na Mara recently played their first ever girls full contact rugby match at Under 15 age grade.

For Waterpark, it was their inaugural rugby match to be played on the college ground after the school recently became co-educational.

As girls rugby continues to progress in Waterford, both schools have planned to meet again for match day friendly fixtures and will take part in the Munster Rugby Girls Participation Programme for schools next season.
