Falvey Names Munster Women’s Squad

Munster Women’s Head Coach Wayne Falvey has named his squad of 33 players ahead of the upcoming Interprovincial Series 2015.

The Munster women, sponsored by Keanes Jewellers, will bid to retain their interprovincial title which kicks off away to Connacht this August (see fixtures below).

Falvey, in his second year at the helm, has named a combination of youth and experience which include Ireland players Heather O’Brien, Niamh Briggs, Niamh Kavanagh and Siobhán Fleming.

The final squad have undergone a selection process over the past couple of months which sees a total of 9 clubs represented throughout the province.

The Munster side includes a combination of 18 capped players along with 15 newcomers who will hope to emulate Munster’s three wins out of three in last year’s campaign.
