Colleges Blitz Day At UL

Munster Rugby recently held a Colleges Blitz Day at the University of Limerick with a total of 90 third level students taking part.

Two categories of rugby events were held which included mixed Tag rugby and Men's 10 a-side.

The Colleges that took part were Cork Institute of Technology, Limerick Institute of Technology, Tralee Institute of Technology ,University of Limerick and Mary Immaculate College.

Munster Rugby would like to acknowledge the efforts of Mary Immaculate College who took part in their first college event and reached the final of the 10 a-side category.

The overall winners of the 10 a-side event were Cork side CIT with Tralee IT claiming the Tag event.

The RBS 6 Nations Trophy was there on the day and many students took the opportunity to get a "selfie" with the trophy.
