This week’s Club Notes come from Cashel and Shannon Rugby Clubs.

Cashel RFC in conjunction with Cashel GAA will be holding an amateur Boxing Festival on Sunday, 2^nd June at Halla Na Feile, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Both clubs will provide a team of 10 boxers each who will compete against each other from 7.30pm in an effort to raise funds for improved facilities in both clubs.

A full bar facility and food will be available on the night with live music following the boxing event.

Well the season has come to an end. I personally would like to thank everyone for the support they have shown to me in my first year as PRO and also to the Club and players throughout the season. I think that we can only go forward with a positive attitude and with the hope that we will as a Club we will support each other more than ever.

Shannon has in my view has some of the most dedicated and passionate supporters I know. We look forward to seeing you all at the matches near and far in the coming season.

Golf Classic: Friday June 21st. Shannon RFC Golf Classic at Shannon Golf Club.

Come along to our Golf Classic on Friday June 21st at Shannon Golf Club. It will be a great day out and a brilliant chance to support the club. Teams of four are priced a €;200.00 or you can sponsor a tee box for €;100.

Shannon RFC Membership 2013/2014

Shannon RFC would like to thank everyone of our members for their ongoing support of the club. We are always looking for new people to get involved and become members. If you would like to become a member for the upcoming season please do not hesitate to contact any of the Executive Committee. We will be updating the website in the next week with new contacts and also be putting a direct debit form which can be downloaded and filled out. I have also attached form to this email. We all know that after the results of this year that we need to be even more pro-active in supporting the Club.
