Untimely Passing of Mick Cullinane, Midleton RFC

We were all shocked at Midleton RFC when news of the untimely and unexpected passing of Mick Cullinane began to filter through on Monday, August 17th. We extend our most heartfelt sympathies to his wife Colette, children Róisín and Paddy, to his parents Michael & Frances, brothers, sisters, extended family, friends and team mates at Midleton RFC.

At a specially convened meeting of the committee, Mick was fondly remembered by all, especially his former team mates. A vote of sympathy was proposed by Club President George Jeffery and the meeting was then adjourned as a mark of respect. All club activities have also been cancelled for the week

Mick is reposing at his parent's home in Gurtstoke on Thursday August 20th from 5pm with prayers at 8pm. Reception into Church of The Most Holy Rosary Midleton on Friday for 2pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St.Colmans Cemetery Ballintotis.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam, RIP.

Munster Rugby Summer Camp

Last week saw a huge number of children taking part in the Munster Rugby Summer Camp at Nenagh Ormond RFC. All of them enjoyed the week and they learned new skills, made new friends and had plenty of fun! On Tuesday, they were very excited to meet Munster Rugby Players Ian Keatley and Shane Buckley who signed jerseys, posed for photos and chatted to our young players about rugby.

Thanks to Munster Rugby, all the coaches and especially to our YDO Pat Fitzpatrick for facilitating such a fantastic Summer Camp for our future stars!
