CBC To Host Concussion Workshop

Following on from the success of the Concussion Workshops held last February, Munster Rugby in conjunction with the IRFU will continue to host similar events commencing this September.

Christian Brothers College (sports hall) will host the first workshop on Wednesday, 14^th September at 6.45pm and will be presented by the IRFU First Aid and Injury Prevention Coordinator Shane Mooney, with further dates and venues to be confirmed throughout the season.

The presentation will focus on modules that relate to Concussion Recognition Management and Return to Play protocols followed by a Question and Answer session.

The workshops are designed to educate coaches, parents, players and referees on the dangers of concussion and how to recognise it.

All club and school coaches are encouraged to attend the workshops which are free of charge. Please note places are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
