CBC & CCC Name Sides For Schools Cup Clash

The Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cup round one kicks off tomorrow, 19th January at Thomond Park Stadium.

First up are Junior Cup defending champions Christian Brothers College led by captain Scott Buckley who has been named in the back row.

They take on Crescent College Comprehensive, captained by out-half John Hurley with a 1pm kick-off.

In a double header, the Senior Cup fixture follows at 3pm which will see Christian’s Daire Feeney lead his charges from the No. 8 position against Crescent.

This year will be the 106th Munster Schools Senior Cup competition with CBC competing for their 29th title. Crescent will be vying for their 12th title having last claimed the cup in 2014 beating finalists Ardscoil Rís at Thomond Park Stadium.
