BOI Munster Senior Cup Final Match Day Information

An exciting afternoon of Club Rugby lies in store this Saturday when Young Munster take on Cork Constitution in the 2016 Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup Final at Thomond Park – KO 2.30pm.

Current champions Cork Constitution will be vying for their fourth title in a row and look to add to their tally of 26 cup wins since the competition's inception in 1886.

With 7 titles to their credit, Young Munster will hope to emulate the success of their junior counterparts who claimed the Bank of Ireland Munster Junior Cup title earlier in the month against Cork Constitution at Irish Independent Park.

Both senior sides met three times this season finishing in the top four of the All Ireland League. Their last meeting was in the league semi final which saw the Cork side claiming the win in a late comeback.

The intense revelry between these two clubs guarantees a great final of Munster's oldest competition.
