Ardscoil Rís & St. Munchins Name Sides

Last year’s Munster Schools Senior Cup finalists Ardscoil Rís will host St. Munchin’s College tomorrow, 21st January at Tom Clifford Park in the Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cup first round.

The day kicks off at 1pm with the Junior Cup fixture which will see Ardscoil Captain Ferdia Lyons lead out his side against their Limerick rivals captained by Mark Crowe.

Ronan Coffey will captain the Ardscoil Rís Senior side from the second row while hooker Adam Moloney will lead the charges for St. Munchin’s College at a 3pm kick-off.

Ardscoil Rís have reached the last two finals having lost out to Crescent College in 2014 and Rockwell College in 2015.

This year they will hope to put their names on the trophy for the first time while St. Munchin’s College have five titles.
