Ard Scoil Ris Advance To Semi-Finals Of Schools Junior Cup

Ard Scoil Ris will face P.B.C. in the semi final of the Avonmore SuperMilk Munster Schools Junior Cup in Musgrave Park on the 14th March after a deserving victory over Rockwell at Dooradoyle.

Ard Scoil Ris will face P.B.C. in the semi final of the Avonmore SuperMilk Munster Schools Junior Cup in Musgrave Park on the 14th March after a deserving victory over Rockwell at Dooradoyle.

It was Rockwell who opened the scoring with a try from scrum half Ben Riley which Bill Johnston converted.
Ard Scoil hit back and tries by jerry McCabe and Kelvin Brown and a conversion and penalty by David O’Mahony had the Limerick side leading 15-7 at half time.

O’Mahony extended Ard Scoil’s advantage with a penalty five minutes into the second half and Rockwell’s only response was a penalty from Johnston seven minutes before the finish.
