Currys & Munster Rugby Extend Technology Partnership
20th February 2026 By The Editor
Currys has renewed its partnership with Munster Rugby, continuing as the team’s Official Technology Supplier for the next two seasons.
This extension strengthens the collaboration first established in 2021 and reaffirms Currys’ commitment to empowering Munster Rugby with advanced tools that drive performance and precision.
Through this renewed partnership, Currys will continue to equip Munster Rugby’s High-Performance Centre with a wide range of cutting-edge technology designed to enhance both on- and off-field performance. This season’s support includes MacBooks and iPads to aid coaching, analysis and day-to-day operations, alongside LG speakers and LG and Samsung TVs to support video review, team meetings and immersive performance analysis.
Microsoft Copilot-enabled laptops will help to streamline workflows and insights, while DJI drones and GoPro cameras capture multi-angle training footage, synchronised with GPS tracking software for in-depth player and team analysis. Completing the setup, NINJA blenders will support players’ nutritional preparation and recovery throughout the season.
To celebrate the renewal, Munster Rugby players Calvin Nash, Paddy Patterson and Tony Butler joined Keith McMahon, General Manager at Currys Limerick and Craig Kelly, Sales Manager at Currys Limerick, at Thomond Park to mark the next chapter of this technology partnership.
Keith Daly, Country Manager at Currys, commented:
“We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Munster Rugby. The technology we provide plays a vital role in supporting the team’s development and competitive edge. At Currys, we’re passionate about delivering the best in tech innovation, and we look forward to helping Munster Rugby achieve success both this season and beyond.”
George Murray, Lead Performance Analyst & Technical Coach at Munster Rugby, added:
“We are very welcoming of the continued support to Munster Rugby from Currys, this partnership has allowed us to remain at the forefront of performance technology. Currys provide us with a wide range of products that are used across multiple departments in the organisation, this ensures we are well equipped to relentlessly pursue the 1% gains required both on and off the field.”
As the partnership enters a new phase, Currys and Munster Rugby will continue to collaborate in leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance performance, insight, and success on and off the field.
